Pieter Stockmans is wellknown in the world of contemporary ceramics. He was one of the first Belgian potters who from the mid 70s onwards pushed the limits of this art by means of surprising installations and performances.

This exhibition falls within the scope of the activities of the Centre Keramis, the future Ceramics centre of the French-speaking Community that will open in 2013 on the site of the Royal Boch earthenware factory in La Louvière.
