Tournai has no lack of beautiful façades. That of L’Olivier is now classified: an additional asset for this gastronomic restaurant, housed in a building that dates back to the seventeenth century. Three houses in one, three restaurant areas, each decorated in a different style: the owner has made the most of the space at his disposal. J. Degreve excels in French cuisine, with a slight preference for fish and seafood. Regional products are well-represented, including fruit and vegetables – without forgetting the cheeses matured by Manu Verhelle from Mouscron – the beef, on the other hand, comes from Australia or Ireland. In addition to the dishes available à la carte, the restaurant offers a 4-course market menu with or without matching wines, a 6-course degustation menu and lunch menus (during the week).
