Beer, one of our most famous regional products is a major part of the Hainaut gastronomy. It can be sampled at the brewery but also in certain important restaurants.

Cheeses and other regional products

In Hainaut, cheeses and beers often go hand in hand: Chimay is one of the most old abbey cheeses in Belgium. The Carré des Tourpes and the Saint-Feuillin are washed in beer. Outside breweries and abbeys, you can taste the Senteur d¿Automne, the goat¿s cheese of Martimont, the Saint-Martin...

Among the other regional products there are the Macarons of Beaumont, the chocolate Spantoles of Thuin, the Eau de Villée and the brandies and liqueurs of DISTILLERY OF BIERCEE (RAGNIES).
